The Hyper Tough USB wall outlet combines standard AC receptacles with built-in Type-A and Type-C USB charging in a single 15 Amp, 120 V device. Its two tamper-resistant receptacles handle everyday plug-in needs, while the integrated USB ports let you charge a phone or tablet with just a USB cable instead of a bulky wall adapter, leaving both receptacles available for other uses. The Type-C port provides up to 30 W and the Type-A port up to 27 W of maximum output, and the outlet supports several common charging protocols. Built-in smart chips recognize an individual device's charging protocol and requirements to help manage charging. For added protection, each tamper-resistant receptacle uses an internal shutter mechanism that blocks access to the contacts unless a two- or three-prong plug is inserted. A matching white wall plate is included.
